Tuesday Tunes: Broadway

The writers of Music Creates Us love exploring new music; it’s what we do, and it’s what we enjoy—and if you’re following MCU, you probably enjoy doing that, too.  As explorers of music, it’s important to be aware of the innumerable outlets of music and genres that exist.  For this week’s Tuesday Tunes, we’ve considered a genre often overlooked for whatever reason: Broadway show tunes.  This genre may seem unconventional to some, but theater has been a huge presence in music and entertainment for a long time.  So today we honor the best of them, from classics to winners of this year’s Tony Awards.  Listen to the tracks listed below for some of the very best music on Broadway!
