Rebecca Roubion is an indie-pop artist based out of Nashville, TN.
Roubion discovered her talent in high school, after writing poetry about her first heartache. Having studied piano since the age of seven, Roubion put her first poem to music and created her first song.
Since then, she has perfected her own signature sound, which is an enchanting mix of pop, soul, and jazz.
Now, Roubion is proud to debut her independently-funded EP, Fields, which was released on November 27, 2012. The only downfall of this EP is that it consists of only four songs. After listening to the EP, I immediately wanted to hear more.
Fields is a beautiful compilation of songs, ranging from playful and whimsical love songs, to slow piano ballads. In each song, Roubion pulls the listener in with her smooth vocals and powerful lyrics. I would recommend songs, “Love Me Now” and “Here Lies My Pulse”.

Make sure you ‘like’ Rebecca Roubion on Facebook. I’m sure we are going to see a lot more from this emerging artist.
